Our Kickoff event at James Messer Softball Complex in Tallahassee
THE 1ST ANNUAL GSN
Capital City Classic Softball Tournament
As you may know my son, Joshua, passed away July 7th 2016. He had just graduated high school and was bound to enter Florida Polytechnic University in the fall. His love for computers and video games was leading him to major in Computer Science with a minor in Cyber Gaming. Due to his untimely passing we are establishing a memorial scholarship in his name so that other students can experience the joys of college he never got to. Each high school senior in Leon County wishing to enter the ever expanding computer technology field will be eligible to apply for this scholarship to FL Polytech’s College of Innovation & Technology.
In light of this endeavor we are announcing the Inaugural GSN Capital City Classic Softball Tournament for adult men and women to be held March 18th. Hosted by the Good Samaritan Network the proceeds from this annual tournament will benefit The Chelsea House for Women and Single Moms, The Lighthouse Children's Home for At Risk Teen Girls and of course the Joshua Crowder Memorial Scholarship Fund.
I am personally asking if you or your company would consider being a sponsor by making a tax deductible in-kind donation to the tournament or perhaps putting together a team and coming out to support us while having some fun. I have attached to this email a flyer and a Sponsor Benefits page. I understand the short timing of this request and ask that if you are unable to participate this year would you be so kind as to pass this information along to someone you know who may wish to form a team or sponsor an event such as this.
Time is of the essence this year as we bring forth the 1st annual GSN Capital City Classic Softball Tournament on very short notice. Please let me know if you can help us reach our goal. The impact you can make on this community is great and I look forward to hearing from you.

This ministry is a christian residential home for teen girls ages 13-16 who are at risk, having discipline or related problems in their home, failing grades in school, problems with the law, and those who have no home and family to care for them.
